Color Dash 2016
Hurry! Run! See what it's about!
The Color Dash is an opportunity to run for fun for absolutely everyone. You don't need to be a runner. Winning is not the point of this event. Participation, smiles, laughter, and okay - a certain amount of dirty laundry afterward - are what's in store for you on this day.
On Saturday, June 11th, the Caring Community of Lakeland High School is hosting a Color Dash fundraiser on the cross country track of its Bogie Lake Road campus. A Color Dash is where people walk, jog, run, or maybe even skip through a 5k course. Throughout the course are stations where color is let loose in the air and explodes over the runners, creating a colorful effect on clothes, hair, and wherever else it lands. When the color explodes so does the energy and the fun and it builds all the way through the course until the final color blast at the end for everyone who passes the finish line. You won't want to miss this special and unique event. Bring a friend. Bring a group. Bring your family. Be there and be part of the fun.
